What is the Day Care Program?
We would like all children to be included in mainstream early childhood services. In order to make it happen, Noah’s Shoalhaven offers short term funding that can bridge the gap while waiting for other funding sources to commence. The program’s aim is to smooth the start and reduce the financial strain on early childhood services.
Our Day Care Program provides financial support to early childhood services supporting children with special needs. The financial support that your service may be eligible for will depend on the needs of the children your service is supporting.
The money could pay for an extra child care worker or let you buy the equipment your service needs to ensure every child feels included.
We hope that by providing money for staff, resources or equipment, early childhood services will be able to help more children.
Supporting children (aged 0-5) who have developmental disabilities, multiple disabilities or who are medically frail is our priority.
How can your child care service get support?
The process is easy.
- Talk to the parent about the funding.
- Fill out a Day Care Funding Form.
- Ask the parents of the children that need extra support to sign the form.
- Post the form to us at PO Box 284, Nowra 2541
- Email form to firstname.lastname@example.org
We also have an Aboriginal Child Care Worker who can support you during this process.
This program is funded by:
NSW Family and Community Services, Community Services and the Friends of Noah’s Inclusion Services.
